When will I receive my funds withdrawal?
The average time for clients to receive withdrawn funds varies depending on the time when the request was made and who they are banking with.
For withdrawal requests received prior to 12:00 AEST (02:00 GMT), normal procedures will see that the request will be processed that same business day. If your request is received after 12:00 AEST (02:00 GMT), or received during periods where there are higher than expected withdrawal volumes, your request will be processed the following business day.
As an added security measure, Vantage FX will attempt to contact you by phone or email to confirm your request if you wish to withdraw a full balance or amount greater than $5,000 AUD.
Once we have processed your request, the time it will take for funds to be received is entirely dependent on communication between our bank (National Australia Bank) and your bank. Please note the following:
- If you request to remit funds to an Australian bank account, your request will customarily be processed overnight and funds will be received at minimum of next business day.
- For fund withdrawals to a foreign account, this can vary considerably between countries due to their individual banking systems. We advise that it will generally take a minimum of 2 – 5 business days to reach your account. Again, some countries may require additional waiting time due to their banks’ intermediary due processes.
